One Person Dead Another Person Injured In Single-Vehicle Accident Near Muscle Shoals

MUSCLE SHOALS-The Alabma Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident has taken the life of one person and sent another man to hospital:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, has claimed the life of an Anniston man.

Trevor S. Malone, 30, was fatally injured when the 2007 Honda Pilot he was driving left the roadway, struck a fence and then a tree. Malone was pronounced deceased at the scene. Lincoln T. Balentine, 28, of Tuscumbia, who was a passenger in the Pilot, was injured and transported to Helen Keller Hospital for treatment.

The crash occurred on U.S. 43 near the 308 mile marker, approximately one mile north of Muscle Shoals, in Colbert County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
