Billy Joe Fulgham, 61, passed away on April 27, 2025. He was born on October 21, 1963 in Maben, Mississippi to Henry E. Fulgham and Beverly Allen Fulgham. He was retired from Motor Pool at Mississippi State University, and spent his retirement caring for his cattle and spending time with friends and family. He also played bass guitar in the Garrett Oswalt Band. He enjoyed making people laugh with his jokes and loved his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Voncille West Fulgham; and father, Henry E. Fulgham.
He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Lucas (Alan) of Maben, MS; son, Kori Fulgham (Emily) of North Carolina; mother, Beverly Fulgham of Maben, MS; sister, Gay Kelly of Maben, MS; brother, Boyd Fulgham of Maben, MS; grandchildren, Hunter Lucas, Brody Lucas, Maggie Fulgham, and Molly Fulgham; nephews, Allen Kelly, Cody Fulgham, and Wyatt Fulgham.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. The service is scheduled for Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Double Springs Baptist Church in Maben, MS. Rev. Larry Halford will conduct the service. Burial will be in Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Maben.
