Ransy Luna, a proud U.S. Army Veteran, beloved husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, and loyal son and brother, passed away peacefully on 20 April 2025, leaving behind
a legacy of strength, service, and love.
Ransy was a man of quiet dignity and deep commitment—to his family, his country, and his values. Born into a military family, he grew up guided by strong principles and carried those into
every aspect of his life. His time in the Army shaped him, and he continued to live with the discipline, courage, and resilience instilled in him during his years of service. He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Luna of Caledonia, Mississippi, who’s unwavering support was the foundation of their life together. He was a proud father to his sons, Jarod Luna and Gabriel Luna, and Gabriel’s wife, Rebecca Luna. His four grandchildren—Noah, Aria, Astor, and Axel Luna—were the light of his life, and he took great pride in watching them grow. Ransy is also survived by his father, Raymond Luna, and his brothers, Robert Luna and Joseph Luna, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and camaraderie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kreth Luna; his sister, Letitia Luna; and his brother, Endy Luna. Though their absence was deeply felt, their memories remained close to his heart.
Ransy’s incredible spirit, steady presence, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he held so
dear.
Memorial Service will be held at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Hickory Flat, MS April 26, 2025, at 1PM.
