Ronnie Norman Fowler, 78, of Ardmore, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at his home in Ardmore, Alabama.
Mr. Fowler lived in the Ardmore community for almost 8 years where he was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed talking to people and always tried to make them laugh. In his free time, Ronnie enjoyed keeping his yard cut and tending to the lawn. He loved his family more than anything.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Taze Fowler and Mary Catherine Wells Fowler, three brothers, two sisters, two sons: David Edwards and Joseph Edwards, one granddaughter, Shawna Colwell, as well as one great granddaughter, Chrissy Colwell.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Fowler, one son, Norman (Elizabeth) Fowler of Taft, TN, one daughter, Cynthia (Chuck) Hurd of Ardmore, AL, one brother, Lawrence Fowler of Winter Haven, FL, seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, as well as two great great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held for Mr. Fowler at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM. A Chapel Service is scheduled to begin immediately after visitation with service time beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
