Mr. Dean Mount, age 83, of Scottsboro, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025.
Mr. Mount is survived by his wife, Karen Mount; son, Tim (Abby) Mount; grand-children, Tyler (Melissa) Mount, Nick Mount, Erin (Kross) Ogle, Christy Mount; brother, James (Charlotte) Mount; 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; daughter in law, Wenda Mount; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Ethel Mount; his son, Phillip Mount; step son, Eric Skelton; brothers, Buford, J.C., Paul, and Bill Mount.
Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with a memorial service following at 2:00 PM with Brother Quinteth Ward officiating.
