Larry “Butch” Smith of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away Wednesday evening, April 9th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born in Conway, SC on April 10th, 1961 and was 63 years old.
Butch was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers. He loved his family and friends and got a kick out of aggravating those around him.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13th, 2025 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will be on Monday, April 14th, 2025 at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in Giles Memory Cemetery in Pulaski, Tennessee
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Patricia Smith.

Father-in-law, Billy Joe Clifton of Pulaski, TN
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends also survive.
