Funeral services for James John Morelock, 64 of Rienzi are set for Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home – SOUTH on HWY 45 South with interment in Hinkle Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 11, 2025 from 5pm-8pm and Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 10am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – SOUTH. Bro. Harold Settlemires will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Bralen Morelock, Eli Morelock, Karson Clack, Riley Clack, James Braddock, Dustin Morelock and John Mark Morlock. Born July 13, 1960 in Corinth, MS., Mr. Morelock passed from this life on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at his home in Rienzi. He was a factory worker and of the Baptist faith. John loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, the outdoors and taking care of his dog. John is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna Morelock; his mother, Martha Jean Morelock; sons, John Mark Morelock (Aubrey) and Dustin Craig Morelock (Nikita); daughter, Lacy Shields (Joe); 8 grandchildren, Baileigh Morelock, Bralen Morelock, Eli Morelock, Riley Clack, Karson Clack, Kenzie Morelock, Mallory Morelock and Lilah Shields; sister, Janice Bearden (Jim); other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Mark Morelock and his brother, Danny Mark Morelock. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. James John Morelock.
