  Dora Annette Howell Profile PhotoDora Annette Howell was born in Hardeman County, Tennessee on August 24, 1949, to parents E.C. and Opal Ledford. She passed from this earthy life on April 8, 2025, at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 8 days.

She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of others. She was a devoted member of Brint’s Chapel Baptist Church in Middleton, Tennessee for many, many years. She was always willing to give a helping-hand with all the activities at her church. She was a devoted and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, 3 sons: Brian Howell, Tommy Howell, and Terry Howell (Peggy). One daughter, Judy Laughlin (Leon). Five grandchildren: Davey McDonald, Cody Howell, Shelby Quillen, Emma Howell and Ellie Cate Howell. Eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, E.C. and Opal Ledford; her husband Donald Ray Howell; grandson Ben McDonald; granddaughter Monica McDonald and three sisters all from Middleton, TN: Betty Kirk; Florence Kirk and Edna Vickers.

Memorials may be sent to Brint’s Chapel Cemetery.
