Martha Jones McDaniel, age 81, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Monday, April 7, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Martha was born May 9, 1943, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Paul and Ruby Lyons Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Jones.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Russell McDaniel; two daughters, Beth McDaniel of Murfreesboro and Angie Rollins (Shawn) of Chapel Hill; three grandchildren, Bren and Bailee Rollins and Trevin White; brother, Bill Jones of Chapel Hill, and several nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement, Martha worked in the offices of hospitals in Marshall County and most recently at Marshall Medical Center. She was a faithful member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed watching game shows, sewing, quilting, crocheting, scrapbooking and working crossword puzzles. She was an avid photographer and still took pictures with her 35mm camera. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 402 N 2nd Ave, Lewisburg, TN, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 12:00 pm at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church with cremation to follow.
