Sonya Lynn Chamblee of Athens passed away on Saturday. She was 53.
Mrs. Chamblee is survived by her husband, Daniel Chamblee; her daughters: Jerri Lynn (Keith) Self, Tasha Holt, and Britney Chamblee; her son, Chance (Brianna) Chamblee; stepdaughters Christy(Bill) Edwards, Misty Pogue grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; She is also survived by her sisters, Selena Curry, Katrinna (Scotty) Lewter, and Rikki Rockwell; her brothers: Cody Rockwell, and Robert Rockwell; her mother, Dorothy Hamm.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Robert “Bob” Rockwell.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am until 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Brother Bruce Addison officiating. Following the service, Mrs. Chamblee will be cremated.
