Margaret Olean Underwood Coleman, 97, of Florence, peacefully passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025. Visitation will be Friday, March 28, 2025, at Williams Funeral Home from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with the service starting at 1:00 pm and Rev. Michael Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence, Alabama.
Serving as pallbearers are Tyler Peden, Matt Predmore, Tim Marshall, Richard Barnett, and Eric Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and love of her life, Tommy C. Peden, and her husband, John S. Coleman; parents, Willie and Velma Underwood; brothers, Norman, Wilbert and Robert Underwood; daughter, Patricia Durham, and great-grandchild, James Burns.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Anne Marshall (Luke); son, Wayne Peden; grandchildren, Melanie Burns (Van), Michelle Barnett (Richard), Wanda Baker (Kevin), Matt Predmore (Ginger), Eric Marshall, Tim Marshall (Becky), Ryan Laine (Jimmy), and Tyler Peden (Jessica). Additional survivors include seventeen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Enhabit Hospice and to the 4th floor staff at North Alabama Medical Center for the love and care shown to our mother and grandmother during her final days.
