Mr. Lonnie Gale Hawkins, age 70, of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at his residence.
Mr. Hawkins was born June 26, 1954, in Guin, AL, to the late Jim Carl and Elizabeth Ann (Belk) Hawkins. He was a mechanic, and was also preceded in death by his brother Jim Wayne (Barbara) Hawkins.
A graveside service will be Tuesday, March 4, at 11:00 AM, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, with Bro. Stuart Vail officiating.
Pallbearers will be Foster Vail, Brent Vail, Hunter Britt, Roy Oglesby, Shane James, and Corey Hall.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Hawkins, of Vernon, AL; two sons, Terry (Lisa) Hawkins and Preston (Courtney) Hawkins; three daughters, Tina (Virgil) Lewis, Christy (Chris) Morton, and Brittney (Phillip) Morris; two grandchildren, Jason and Jayla Hawkins; and one brothers, Ricky Carl Hawkins.
