LAWRENCE COUNTY-A Lawrence County District Attorney’s Investigator arrested Randall Scott Bumpus, age 60, of Lawrence County, Alabama for 50 counts of Possession With Intent to Disseminate Child Sexual Abuse Material (13A-12-192).
A months long investigation led to the execution of a search warrant. Investigators and Deputies from the Lawrence

County District Attorney’s Office (36th Judicial Circuit), Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, 25th Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office, and University of Alabama Police Department’s Regional Evidence Analysis and Cyber-Intelligence Team (REACT) executed a search warrant at a residence on Alabama Highway 33 North of the Langtown Community.
Evidence discovered during the investigation and search warrant led to the charges. The investigation continues.

Bumpus is currently being held at the Lawrence County Jail. Bond has not been set at the time of this release.
