COLBERT COUNTY-Colbert County Tourism has put together a great lineup of fun and educational events for March.  Check out some of the events here:

Wildwood

March 1, 2025– Collaboration: An Evening with the Wildwood Trio – The Ritz Theatre, 103
W. 3rd Street, Sheffield. The Wildwood Trio—featuring Tony Lee, Malcolm Singleton, and Eddie
Martin—brings together three seasoned musicians from the heart of the Muscle Shoals music
scene. Their special event, Collaboration: An Evening with the Wildwood Trio, will showcase a
handpicked selection of songs from each member, promising an unforgettable night of
storytelling and sound. Join us at the intimate Ritz Studio venue for this one-of-a-kind

March 10, 2025– Caringplace of the Shoals Presents: Carl Casiday’s Spring
Extravaganza!- Sheffield First Presbyterian Church, 130 East 5th Street, Sheffield.
Caringplace of the Shoals proudly presents Carl Casiday’s Spring Extravaganza—an
enchanting evening of florals, flavors, and fundraising. Guests will be treated to a captivating
floral design demonstration by the renowned Carl Casiday, followed by an exciting auction of his
breathtaking arrangements. The evening begins with wine and boutique shopping at Lola’s Gifts
and Flowers, setting a relaxed and elegant tone before transitioning to First Presbyterian
Church in Sheffield for the main event. Throughout the night, guests will enjoy a delectable

Allman Brothers

March 14, 2025– End Of The Line: Allman Brothers Tribute Band –The Ritz Theatre, 111 W
3rd St, Sheffield, AL. In 2025, END OF THE LINE will honor the legendary Allman Brothers
Band by celebrating the music of 1970 in recognition of its 55th anniversary with the SONGS
FROM THE IDLEWILD GARAGE TOUR. This special tribute pays homage to the
groundbreaking Idlewild South album—featuring classics like Midnight Rider and In Memory of
Elizabeth Reed—along with Live at Ludlow Garage 1970, which includes unforgettable
performances of Dreams and one of the most electrifying renditions of Mountain Jam ever
recorded. For the first time, End of the Line will bring rare gems to the stage, including I’m
Gonna Move to the Outskirts of Town from the Ludlow set and Leave My Blues at Home from
Idlewild South. In 1970, the Allman Brothers Band cemented their signature sound through an
intense touring schedule of over 300 shows. Now, End of the Line is bringing this timeless
music back to the forefront, sharing it with a growing fanbase across the country—where, just as

Shoals Shootout
March 14-15, 2025 – Shoals Shootout 2025 – North Alabama Speedway 12200 Highway 247,
Tuscumbia. Experience the adrenaline rush at Shoals Shootout 2025! Gates open Friday at 4
PM with racing at 7 PM, featuring winged outlaw sprint cars, late model modified, and stock car
racing. The action continues Saturday, with gates opening at 3:30 PM and races kicking off at 7

Village School
March 15, 2025– Village One Volunteer Day with MSNHA- Village School, 200 Chickamauga
St., Sheffield. Join us and the Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area for our first volunteer event
of the year on Saturday, March 15th, from 10 AM to 1 PM at 200 Chickamauga St., Sheffield,
AL. No experience is necessary—we’ll provide all supplies and direction. Tasks may include
cleaning, painting, scraping, yard work, organizing materials, and more. If you have specialized
skills to share, let us know when you sign up via email or social media. Please wear clothes you
don’t mind getting dirty, such as jeans and closed-toe shoes, and feel free to bring work gloves
if you have them. Even if you can’t stay the whole time, stop by to say hi and see what we’re
working on! A huge thanks to Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area for partnering with us on

Tuscumbia. Join Cane Creek Land Stewards in trail care work such as: building natural steps
and water control features, updating trail markers and assisting with trail cutbacks and clearing
debris from trails. No experience required. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Please bring water,
snacks, and work gloves. Extra water, work gloves and tools will be provided. Complete a
separate registration for each individual participating (each person must sign a waiver).
Guardians may sign up on behalf of minors. For more information call 256-534-5263.

Chambless-Muse-in-the-Ritz-Studio-1920x1080
March 17, 2025– Chambless and Muse – Live in the Ritz Studio- The Ritz Theatre,111 W 3rd
St, Sheffield . For over 25 years, Alabama natives Jil Chambless and Scooter Muse have been
captivating audiences with the music of Scotland, Ireland, and early America, performing in a
range of settings from intimate house concerts to grand festivals and concert halls. Throughout

their careers, Jil and Scooter have had the privilege of collaborating with some of the finest
artists in Celtic music, resulting in many spontaneous and memorable performances. Their
music has taken them across the US, as well as to Canada, Scotland, and Israel. Don’t miss the
opportunity to see them live at the Ritz Theatre on March 17 at 7 PM. For tickets and more

March 20-22, & March 28-29, 2025 – The Crucible at the Village School – 200
Chickamauga St., Sheffield. Echoe Productions presents The Crucible, Arthur Miller’s
gripping drama about the hysteria and fear that consumed Puritan Salem. This timeless story
explores how small lies and personal grievances fuel mass paranoia, leading to devastating
consequences. Directed by Jesse Lane, the production runs March 20–22 and March 28–29 at
The Village School in Sheffield. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show begins at 7:00 PM with
no late entry allowed. Concessions will be available. General admission is $18, and student

Kite
March 22, 2025– Kite Day and Egg Hunt- Belle Mont Mansion, 1569 Cook Lane,
Tuscumbia. Belle Mont is excited to announce the return of their popular Kids’ Kite Day and
Egg Hunt! This event is intended for children ages 12 and under and involves flying kites, egg
hunts, coloring, storytime, popcorn, and more! The event will be on March 22, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
It is held at the historic Belle Mont Mansion (1569 Cook Lane Tuscumbia, Alabama 35674). This
event is in partnership with Helen Keller Public Library. Kite Day is a free event, but spots are

team up in March for the inaugural Sweet Sounds of the Shoals event. Sweet Sounds of the
Shoals will be an evening event including an indulgent sampling of desserts from our local
restaurant and cafe community, a signature cocktail crafted just for the occasion, and a coffee
bar. As you savor these sweet treats, enjoy live entertainment, including an exciting dueling
piano performance featuring music made famous in Muscle Shoals and more surprises
