Nancy Whited Wilkerson, 79, of Huntsville, AL passed away Monday, February 24, 2025. Nancy was born in Norfolk, VA on May 19, 1945, to Hubert Lee Whited and Mildred Dillard Whited. She graduated from Butler HS in Huntsville and The University of Alabama School of Nursing in 1966. While working as a nurse she met and married Kenneth Wayne Wilkerson in 1967, her husband of 57 years. Nancy was a devoted wife and mother, raising three loving children before returning to her passion of helping others through nursing. Her determination and strength was present throughout her whole life
Survivors include husband, Kenneth Wayne Wilkerson; children, Leigh Wilkerson Jacks, Patrick Wayne Wilkerson, and Hannah Jacks Wilkerson; sister and brother-in-law, Mildred Ann Oliver and Robert Leo Oliver; nieces, Laurel Ann Hackett and Robyn Lynn Hedges; nephews, Jeffrey Scott Wilkerson and John Steven Wilkerson.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 28, 2025, at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Dedric Cowser officiating.
