Margaret Carolyn Wilson, 77, Sheffield, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025. Visitation will be Friday, February 28, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church. The Memorial Mass will immediately follow at the church with Fr. Benny Karimalikkal officiating. A private interment service will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Carolyn was a member of Our Lady of the Shoals, Catholic Church. Because of her love for and dedication to making a difference in the lives of children, she chose a career as a teacher. Carolyn took great pride in her work at West Elementary School in Russellville and, after retirement, her short time at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Florence. She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. and Helen K. Wilson; and brother, Raymond H. Wilson.
Carolyn is survived by her nieces, Karen W. Ayers, Susan W. Underwood, and Heather J. Pounders.
The family would like to thank Carolyn’s cousins and fellow church members for their loving acts of kindness and assistance.
