Mrs. Morrow was a high school science and sociology teacher at Winston County High School for over 20 years before becoming an active officer with her retired teacher’s organization like her husband, Coach Morrow. After beginning her education at Florence State (now the University of North Alabama), she received her Master’s of Education degree from the University of Alabama, where she was a life-long Crimson Tide fan, where her oldest child, Connie Jo graduated after being in the Million Dollar Band playing Trombone 4 years, as did her grandson, Connor Morrow Carraway, who played Tuba. When her youngest child, Robert, followed his talent to becoming a football player on the Mississippi State Bulldog team, she followed suit and became a Mississippi State fan, going to ballgames and ringing her cowbell. She supported many of her students in their endeavor’s afterschool, and was always happy to see them excel in many fields, but especially the fields of sports, music and science.
