Phyllis Allen Peppers, age 85, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Russellville Hospital.
Phyllis was a devoted wife to Manley and a loving and dedicated mother to her five boys who kept her on her toes. She loved her boys and spent a lot of their childhood on dressing them in identical clothing. She loved to travel with Manley when he was on long-haul truck driving. She loved also being a homemaker and enjoyed her time working at Sam’s Wholesale Club. Her family and grandchildren meant everything to her, and she leaves us with many wonderful memories that we will keep close to our hearts.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Randy Peppers (Donna), Dan Peppers (Sherry), Phillip Peppers (Cindy), Greg Peppers; grandchildren, Kimberly Peppers, Casey Peppers, Jeremy Peppers (Amanda), Danielle McLain (Jessie), Jerry Hudson (Courtney), Caleb Peppers, Colin Peppers, Lindsay Peppers, Brittany Peppers, Stephanie Hurst (Sam); 10 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-laws, Betty Martin, Opal Peppers; Linda Peppers; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Manley Peppers; son, Jeff Peppers; parents, Leonard Allen & Pearl (Woods) Martin, siblings, Inez Bates Marks, J.C. Martin, Ruby Keeton Strickland, and Leonard Allen Martin, Jr.
The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Sammy Taylor officiating the service. The burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Phil Campbell. The pallbearers will be family members.
