H.B. Sharp, 86, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on February 6, 2025. He was born in 1938 to Raymond Jacks Sharp and Edeth Della Parton.
H.B. began working at a young age, starting at a gas station before he turned 19. He then joined Orkin Pest Control before eventually establishing his own business, Sharp’s Pressure Washing, which he successfully ran for nearly 40 years before retiring.
In his spare time, H.B. enjoyed being outdoors, spending quality time with his grandchildren, and dancing. He was a devoted family man who cherished his loved ones deeply.
H.B. is survived by his son, Kevin Sharp (Sherry) of New Market, AL; and his grandchildren, Dustin Sharp (Ivey) of New Market, AL, Rebecca Pinder (Chase) of Huntsville, AL, and Cody Sharp of New Market, AL; great-granddaughter, Alda West Sharp; along with numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Randall Sharp; his wife, Sarah Fortner; his brother, Curtis Sharp Sr.; and his sisters, Tennie Driver, Dot Thomas, and Helen Brewer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 12 to 2 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. Burial will take place immediately after in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
