Brenda Young Higdon, age 71, of Stevenson, Alabama and formerly of Decatur, Alabama passed from this life on January 26, 2025 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Higdon, and her mother, Geneva Johnson.
Brenda is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Higdon, several cousins, and many brothers and sisters in Christ from the Danville Road church of Christ in Decatur and the Eastside church of Christ in Scottsboro.
Brenda’s family and friends wish to express their deepest gratitude to the ICU staff at Highlands Medical Center who so thoughtfully cared for Brenda.
Visitation will be at Scottsboro Funeral Home on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 11:00 am with funeral service at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur Alabama.
