Linda Gail Bearden, Age 80 of Albertville entered her eternal home January 17, 2025. She was born April 19, 1944 to the late Alton and Onena Gardner, Linda was known in the Albertville and painter communities as the epitome of a godly woman and mother. Linda loved her family, friends and church family, especially the Ladies class at New Canaan Baptist Church, with all her heart. She lived out her love for God and her savior, Jesus Christ, each day as she could be found in bible study and prayer times throughout the day. She was a dedicated church member throughout the years and when she wasn’t able to attend church, she was a committed prayer warrior.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Alton and Onena Gardner, and her beloved husband Jerry D. Bearden. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her including her sister, Peggy Williams (Phillip), children Michael D. Bearden, Kimberly Miller (Greg), Grandchildren Evan Miller, Emma Crumpton (Clint), John Eric Miller and Christopher Miller. Her great-grandsons Ezra, Silas and Charlie Crumpton were so loved by their nana. She also leaves behind a host of friends and extended family.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday January 21, 2025 at 2:00 PM at New Canaan Baptist Church in the Whiton community. Visitation will take place prior to the service at New Cannon Baptist Church starting at 12:30 PM, Linda will be laid to rest in the New Canaan Cemetery. Reverend Noah Moon and Pastor Mark Hall will officiate. Pallbearers will be Evan Miller, John Eric Miller, Christopher Miller, Clint Crumpton, Noah Moon, Brian Sauls and Caleb Sauls. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Canaan Baptist Church mission fund.
