Mr. James Allen Stone of New Market passed away on Wednesday. He was 67. Mr. Stone spent his whole life in the New Market area.
Mr. Stone was preceded in death by his parents, A.M. & Shirley Walker Stone, by his brothers, Kenneth Stone and Joe Stone, his sister, Stephanie Stone, and grandparents: Wesley & Altia Seals Walker and Willie & Cleo Hillis Stone.
Surviving family members include his wife of almost 48 years, Debbie Stone; his son and daughter-in-law, James Earl & Bonnie Stone; his daughters, Nancy Stone and Ashley Stone; his brother, Lynn Stone; His sisters, Anita Dingler and Cathey Rambo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his mother-in-law, Mary Pendergraft, and his sister-in-law, Janice Lee.
There will be a Celebration of Life service on Sunday at 3pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Benny Berry officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
