Noah “Buddy” Devenaugh Jackson Jr., 88, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on January 8, 2025. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025 12-2 with a service to follow at 2. He is survived by his children Lorraine Perez (Joseph), Denise Fretwell (Doug), Lisa Thorne (Wilson), Allen Lowery (Barbara), and Eddy Lowery (Kathy). Colbert Memorial Chapel will be assisting the family.

Buddy was a member of Highland Park Church of Christ.  He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. Buddy had a passion for golf and playing cards that brought him joy with his family and friends on the weekends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Jackson; parents, Noah Jackson Sr. and Eula Terry Jackson; siblings, Frances Graham, Betty Churchwell, Mary Ellen Seay, Emma Swinney, Martha Morgan, Jimmy Jackson; great-grandson, Jase Fretwell.

He is survived by his children, Lorraine Perez (Joseph), Denise Fretwell (Doug), Lisa Thorne (Wilson), Allen Lowery (Barbara), and Eddy Lowery (Kathy), grandchildren; Kayla Thorne, Tiffany Warhurst (Eric), Joshua Thorne (Kayla), Chris Pace (Miranda), Billy Fretwell (Bre), Jessica Seay (Brandon), Tara Cummings, Zach Walker (Ashley), Bailey Romo (Jonathan), Allison Jenkins (Ryan), Ben Lowery, John Lowery (Janie), Josh Lowery (Whitney), Seth Lowery (Savannah); and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pall Bearers will be Allen Lowery, Tim Morgan, Brandon Seay, Chris Pace. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddy Lowery and Kenny Ford.

A very special thanks to Southern Magnolia Assisted Living, Gentiva Hospice, Burns Nursing and Rehab, and the American Legion.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the National Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Pauline Cross Jackson.
