Gayle Welborn Dodson, (1940 – 2025), passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025.
She was born on June 22, 1940, in Lawrence County, Alabama.
Gayle was preceded in death by her mother, Nola Welborn; her husband, Charles Brooks Dodson; her daughter, Karen Renae Kruse; and her brother, Carl Welborn.
She is survived by her loving family daughter, Sandra Gillum, (Jack); granddaughter, Emily Brooks Gillum; sister-in-law, Edith Welborn; and her niece, Shannon Collier (Oneal), whom she fondly called her other daughter.
Services will be held at Aldridge Grove Church of Christ in Moulton on January 9, 2025. Visitation is from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, with funeral following.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Alabama Chapter, or the charity of your choosing.
