Walter G. Folger, Jr. of Huntsville, Alabama went to his heavenly home on December 29, 2024.
He was born to Walter Sr. and Gwendoline Folger in St. Louis, Missouri on September 26, 1934. He was preceded in death by Carol, his beloved wife of 66 years and survived by his two daughters, Barbara (Terry) Henderson of Florida and Vicki (George) Tompkins of Alabama; three grandchildren, Danielle Parkhurst, Kasey Eads, & Jordan Henderson.
Walter was a US Army Veteran and had a long career with Burroughs/Unisys. He was a gifted craftsman and artist and leaves behind many cherished pieces.
Walter’s cremains will be reunited with Carol’s and placed in the Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Florida at a later date.
