Stanley, Alison Lee, 44 years old, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 4, 2024. She was born in Fairfield, Alabama, but was raised primarily in Pleasant Grove, Alabama. She attended Pleasant Grove High School and graduated in 1998. She was active in several school activities, including 4H where she won several awards. She was also a member of Pleasant Grove Marching Band. Alison was a member of the dance team, majorettes, and color guard. Her senior year she was the Captain of the Color Guard. After graduation Alison attended South Alabama University in Mobile. She majored in drama and minored in communications. Her senior year she transferred to the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where she was completing her communications degree. Later she moved to Chelsea where she resided.
We all loved Alison. She was full of life, warm kind, had a big heart and loved with all she had. When when memories of Alison come flooding to us, those memories will become treasures. The risk of love is loss and the price for love is grief. But the pain of grief is only a shadow when compared with not risking love. We all allow ourselves to love, family, friends, and others. Only time and tears will take away the grief as tears shed for our loss. We also celebrate now, Alison is finally at peace.
Alison lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel and see new places; she loves spending time with friends and family, but more than anything she loved her great- nieces Kylie and Aliana and her great-nephew Carter who called her “Ali,” She loved them to the moon and back. And they reciprocated the love she showed to them. The world was a better place with Alison among family and friends. A bright light has been extinguished, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but she is in the arms of her Lord and Savior, and we are left with memories over 44 years.
