Virginia Green Adams “Jenny Ross”, age 75, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024.
Jenny Ross was a member of the Scottsboro High School Class of 1967. She was a lifelong member of Randall’s Chapel Church. Jenny loved the Lord and loved her family, especially being a devoted “Jen Jen” to her six grandchildren. Her kind and generous spirit will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Deanna Adams Hughes (Jeremy) of Scottsboro, AL, and Laura Jo Adams Breaux (Austin) of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Addison, and Mackenzie Hughes, Elliot, Evangeline, Eliza, and August Breaux; sister, Connie Faye Garner; niece, Lindsey Garner; nephews, Torey Green, Adrian Green; and a host of friends and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.B. and Mamie Green; brothers, Terry Green and Douglas Green.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Donna King, and Rev. Jody Gamble officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made in memory of Jenny to the Nourish one Child Program in Scottsboro.
