Martha Lily Russell, 84, of Florence, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 29, at New Hope Church of Christ, with Brother Carl Seigenthaler officiating. She will lie in state at the church one hour before the service.
Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, M.C. Russell; her parents, Sam and Pearl Vaughn; sisters, Beulah Mitchell, Essie Howell, Thelma Savage, Velma Casscarella and Lura Dean Newberry; brother, George Marshall Vaughn.
Survivors include sons, Kenneth Ray Russell (Loretta) and Gordon Wade Russell (Paulette); grandchildren, Alisha Rae Russell-Mitchell, Kimberly Ann Barnett, Lindsey Hamm, Wade Russell and Blake Inman, great-grandchildren, Autumn June Hamm, Sunny Beth Hamm, Clayton Eric Barnett and Christian Riley Barnett; sisters, Johnnie Richards and JoAnn Wakefield.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Mangrum, Terry Newbury, Blake Inman, Christopher Mitchell, Joey Hamm and Eric Barnett. Wade Russell will serve as honorary pallbearer
