Kayo BenfordAuburn Elisha Terrell “Kayo” Benford, age 95, Haleyville, AL. passed away Saturday June 22, 2024. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War, retired from Formed Tubes and Harden Mfg, was the oldest living member of Sunny Home Baptist Church.

Visitation will Thursday June 27, 2024 from 10:00AM – 12:00NOON at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral at 12:00NOON in the chapel, with Bro. Jeremy Glenn, Bro. Kirk Cagle and Bro. Eddie Everett officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.

He is survived by his children, Ricky Benford (Diane) and Sharon Nolen (Danny); brother, Jerry Benford (Betty); grandchildren, Tiffany Baker, Lauren Spradling (Kenny) and Kent Glass (Elizabeth Burns); great grandchildren, Chloe Baker, Caleb Baker, Kinsleigh Hurley and Hudson Spradling; a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Genier Ruth Benford; parents, Artentiuos and Annie Benford; and 10 brothers and sisters.
