Funeral service for Lovinia Reese, 60, will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Barber officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Childers Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, February 5, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Reese died on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Friday, January 10, 1964, in Cullman County to Norman J. Childers and Margarett Lovinia Chops Childers.
She was employed by Golden Road Broilers as a Fork Lift Operator, prior to her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ricky and Johnny Childers and two sisters, Anita J. Smith and Norma Jean Oden.
Survivors include:
Son – Tristan Ballenger (Carly Davis)
Daughter – Tina Ross (James)
Brothers- Jackie Childers
Norman Childers, III (Kay)
Grandchildren – Ava Rose Ballenger, Jayden Ross, and Jayla Ross.
Niece – Dana Lawrence
Great Nieces – Jamie, Amber and Sadie.
Pallbearers will be James Harris, Matthew White, Rusty Childers, Travis Childers, Mikee Ballenger and Nick Blankenship
