Mrs. Yvonne Wallace TuckYvonne Wallace Tuck was born on July 31, 1952, as the 2nd child to the late Usley Wallace and Pearl Wallace.  She was preceded in death by Edweina King Garner, Herbert Alfred King and her husband of 49 years, Charles Tuck.

Yvonne Tuck departed this life on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital Hospice.

Yvonne accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church.  Later in life, she joined the Fellowship of Faith Church under the leadership of Pastor-Teacher Troy L. Garner. She was very active in many church and community programs.  Yvonne was a faithful church member, until her health began to decline.

Yvonne earned her Bachelor of Science (1974) and    Master of Speech Pathology (1995) from Alabama A&M University. Yvonne worked for East Limestone school system for over 27 years. She retired from East Limestone High School in 2004 as a Speech Pathologist teacher, to focus more on her family.

Yvonne loved cooking for her family and trying out new recipes. She also loved giving back to the community.

She is survived by and leaves to cherish loving memories to; her devoted son, Jeremy (Nicole) Tuck, Daughters; Dionne (Rasheem) Orr, Patrice (Patrick) Yacko, special great nieces;  Ariean King and Aariean King, Sister; Joyce Wallace-Cartwright; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Fellowship of Faith Church (3703 North Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, AL 35810) with Pastor Troy Garner officiating. Interment will be in the Indian Creek Cemetery. Ms. Tuck will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

Public viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2023, and 8:30 until 9:00 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home.
