Mr. Joe Wilbanks, age 77, of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Boxes Cove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Joe is survived by his wife, Margaret Wilbanks; sons, Bobby (Angel) Wilbanks and Bill (Taska) Wilbanks; daughters, Sissy Webster (Jamie), Shirley Miotke (Robbie), and Melissa (Eric) Willmon; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and a host of loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Stella Wilbanks; brothers, Don Wilbanks and Willis Wilbanks; and sisters, Mattie Gilbert, Bee Dobbs, and Dude Ware.
