Nellie Hackworth, passed away, at her home, on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the age of 80 years.
Nellie is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Rorex Hackworth and Mabel Cornelius Hackworth and her spouse, B. Joel Spring.
Nellie lived most of her life in Scottsboro, Alabama. She was a member of the Broad Street Church of Christ and long-time employee of Mead Paperboard.
She is survived by her friend and care giver, Mr. Elbert Daughtery.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro, Alabama with Dr. Nobie Stone officiating.
She will be buried beside her beloved Dad, Jack Rorex Hackworth.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broad Street Church of Christ-Youth Program.
