J. David Polk, 74 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, at his residence. Mr. Polk was born on August 22nd, 1949, in Oroville, California, to Joseph Walker Polk and Bessie Edith Barnes Polk.
Mr. Polk is survived by his wife Renee J. Polk; children Tasha Brooks and Lorinda Spencer; grandchildren Katie Ann Knutson, Christian Spencer, and Cody Spencer; great-grandchildren Izzabelle Wichert and Sage Spencer; and brother J. Daryle Polk.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren Bria Knutson and Marlynn Knutson; and sister Lynetta DeRoco.
A memorial service for Mr. Polk will be in Oroville, California, with the date to be determined.
