A Celebration of Life, for Steven Crunk, age 67, of Decatur, will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00PM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel.
He was born September, 10, 1955 to Luther Eugene Crunk Jr. and Joyce Ann Taylor Crunk in Florence, Alabama.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Donna Tidwell Crunk, five children, Wesley Eugene Crunk (Lacey), Stephanie Crunk Morgan (Damon), Felix Daniel Jackson, Douglas Blake Jackson (Nicole), Denna Louise Thompson (Brockton), brother, James David Crunk (Yolanda), two sisters, Beverly Alexander (Lee), Teresa Kaye Crunk, nine grandchildren, Gavin Eugene Crunk, Tristan James Archer, Avery Ann Crunk, Ailiea Grace Morgan, Isabella Cate Morgan, Annabella Blu Jackson, Tipton Charles Jackson, Nicolette Rose Thompson, Broderick Pierce Thompson.
He was a 1973 graduate of Decatur High School. He was a 47-year member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #558 Sheffield AL., where he served on the of E. Board, Vice President and President, and business manager before his retirement in 2012. He was President of North Alabama Business Trades, Vice President of Alabama State Electrical Workers, Trustee for NECA- IBEW Health and Welfare Fund, Trustee of Southern Electrical Retirement Fund. He was a member of Mt. Zion Masonic Lodge #542.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and gangy.
