Alvin Franklin Ward, age 64, of Haleyville, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023.
He was born on August 29, 1959 in Hialeah, Florida to Monroe and Ora Ward.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2:00 pm. Burial will be held at Macedonia Cemetery. Brother James Young will officiate.
Alvin is survived by his children, Rexel (Donna) Ward, Christy McGhee, Brandon (Amy) Ward, Heath (Miranda) Ward, and Daisha Ward; brothers and sisters, Lora Ann Cummings, Owen (Vicky) Ward, Eddy (Becky) Ward, and Virginia Tucker; grandchildren, Kirsten Ward, Orion Ward, Mallory Ward, Madison Ward, Blake Ward, Daniel (Kathy) Thomas, Jesi Thomas, and Parker Gann; and great grandson, Mavrick.
He was preceded in death by his father, Monroe Ward; mother, Ora Lee Ward; sister, Martha Gay Gibbs; brother, Travis Monroe Ward; sister, Fayrene Howell; and grandson, Dustin Thomas.
