William “Bill” Schueler, 84 of Athens, passed away on July 7, 2023.
He is survived by his daughter, Terri Rankin (Collin); grandchildren, Chad Lindsay (Amanda), William Ryan Schueler (Whitney), Kristin Lindsay (Jess); great grandchildren, Rodie Lindsay, Makayla Lindsay, Reagan Schueler, Jacob Owen Schueler; sister, Ester Smith (Bill); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Mae Schueler; son, William Randall Schueler; grandson, Bryson Bennett; parents, Jacob and Katie Schueler; sister, Evelyn Edwards; and brother, Herbert Schueler.
He retired from the Air-force after 20 years of dedicated service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of North Alabama or The Athens Veteran’s Museum.
