Andrew V. Douglas, 94 of Huntsville, AL, passed away on July 6, 2023.
He was born December 9, 1928 in McKinney, Texas to Jesse and Ritie Dougals. Andrew married W. Dale McHenry in 1951. They had one son together in 1952.
Andrew began his working career for Swift & Co.; M&J and then Ragland Brothers. He lived in multiple states, before becoming a long time resident of Chattanooga, TN, then settling in Huntsville in 1977. Before illness prevented him from attending he was a member of the North Parkway Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and all 12 siblings. His main hobby was fishing, which he enjoyed for many years with his closest friends, Doug Blevins and Charles Powell, who preceded him in death.
Dad would have wanted anyone who desired to remember him to donate to St. Jude.
