Funeral service for Stanley “Stan” Holt, 59, will be Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Holt died on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born March 22, 1964, in Morgan County, to Herman Rufus Holt and Edith M. Roberts Holt.
Stan never met a stranger, he was a good friend to everyone he met. He loved deeply but his Blue Heelers, “Lollipop and Jellybean”, were closest to his heart. He was a former Hartselle Volunteer Firefighter and loved all Alabama Sports. He was employed by the City of Hartselle as a Hartselle City Police Department Dispatcher and then as the Court Magistrate and later at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts, prior to his passing.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother: Herman Lee Holt and a sister: Frances Eva Holt.
In honor of “Roll Tide Roll” Stan, the family requests everyone wear Alabama Attire or colors if available.
