Dorothy Evangeline Hughes, age 95, of Phil Campbell, AL, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hughes, parents, William J. & Flora Townsend, daughter, Julia Hughes, siblings Opal Klatt, Nell Hall, Eugene Townsend.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Phillip Hughes, grandchildren, Kevin Hughes, and Kayla Hughes. Sister, Margaret Fikes, Brother, Raymond Townsend.
The visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Terry Buster officiating the service. The burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
