Funeral service for Betty Corine (Gaddy) Brown, age 80, of Trinity, will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Home with Bro. Stacey Brown and Bro. Kenny Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Clardy Cemetery, Hillsboro.
Mrs. Brown, who died Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at River City Center, was born July 29, 1942, in Alabama to James Collis Gaddy and Jessie Plumer “Mable” Terry Gaddy. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenny Ray Terry; one daughter, Patricia Gail Terry; one brother, Arlon Gaddy; and one sister, JoAnne Eskridge. Mrs. Brown was a seamstress.
She is survived by three sons, Garland “Shorty” Terry (Theresa), James “Buddy” Terry (Vanessa), and Jessie Terry (Tori); one brother, Don Gaddy; four sisters, Brenda Eskridge, Sarah Dotson, Diane Ferrell, and Annette Sparks; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Noah Elms, Cameron Elms, Ty Henderson, Jamie Terry, Zayne Borden, John Nance, and Eric Dotson. Honorary pallbearers will be Zeb Henderson, Tyler Stephenson, and Carlton Dotson.
The family would like to express their special thanks to River City Center and Southern Care Hospice for their compassionate care of Mrs. Brown.
