Jimmy Edsel Ford, 78, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013. The graveside service will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur with Chad Holder officiating.
Mr. Ford was a native of Decatur, Alabama and was a past member of the Civitan Club. He was a retired truck driver and business owner and was preceded in death by his parents, Garvis and Lilly Ford and daughter, Gina Ford.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley Boyd Ford; daughters, Shara Ford and Leah Ford; brother, Donnie Leroy Ford; five grandchildren, Brandon, Lucy, and Lilly Howard, Jacob Ford, and Johnnie Basham; and five great-grandchildren.
