Funeral services for Mr. Charles Ray Fisher, age 72, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Union Methodist Church in Trenton, TN with burial following with military honors in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 6 PM until 8 PM at Shelton Funeral Home, and on Saturday from 12 noon until service time at Union Methodist Church.
Mr. Fisher passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at his home in Bradford, TN.
Mr. Fisher was the owner and operator of Charlie’s and a US Army Veteran having served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam and received the Army Commendation and Vietnam Campaign Medals. He started the Special Olympics in Trenton, TN, was a foster parent with his wife for 6 years, was a member of the Lions Club, and helped out with multiple fund raisers in the community. His favorite hobbies were motorcycles and spoiling his grandchildren.
Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by a son, David Fisher; and by his parents, Charles and Virginia Fisher.
Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife, Brenda Sue Fisher of Bradford, TN; 4 children, Charles Allen Fisher of Bradford, TN, Thena (Danny) Marlow of Trenton, TN, Deniece (John) Pride of Zionsville, IN, and Larry (Karen) Setzer of Humboldt, TN; 13 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 3 brothers, Michael (Kristie) Fisher of Jackson, TN, Antonio Fisher of Jackson, TN, and Randall Fisher of Ripley, TN.
