“Ann” Scott, 81 of Arab passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice Facility in Albertville. Ann was born April 6, 1942 the daughter of Ira Shaw and Elsie Mae Satterfield Shaw. She was a graduate of Arab High School Class of 1960. Very shortly after she married the love of her life, James Randell Scott, on June 5, 1960 and was married 59 years at the time of his passing April 21, 2019. She was retired from Syncro and a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons: Michael Scott (Tracey) and Mark Scott (Melody Johnston); grandchildren: Adrea Crouch (Robert), Rachael Childers (Bobby) and Dakota Scott; great grandchildren: Emmit, Bo, Breanna, Cameron, Trey and Missy. She was preceded in death by husband: Randall Scott, sons: Jamie Scott and Jay Shaw Scott, sister: Nada Ponder.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Brother Andy Brown officiating. The burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel Directing. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers: Robert Crouch, Bobby Childers, Dakota Scott, Donnie Ponder, Wes Ponder and Chris Berry.
