Deborah Smallwood Keeton age 62, of Arab passed away Monday May 8, 2023, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice Inpatient Facility. Deborah was born on Sept. 7, 1960, in Marshall County, AL the daughter of Curtis and Tempie Perkins Smallwood. She was married to Richard Keeton who passed away on November 26, 2012. She was also preceded by her parents: Curtis and Tempie Smallwood; brother: Jerry Smallwood and sister: Lola Vincent. Survivors include her daughters: Summer (Brandon) Sims and April (Jamie) Stafford; brother: James Smallwood; sister: Sheila (Matt) Laleme; grandchildren: Chase Newman, Loxley Sims, Brighton Sims and London Sims. Funeral Service will be Thurs. May 11, 2023, at 10 AM at Gober Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Gober Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be: Jessie Hill, Tim Salter, James Smallwood, Brandon Sims, Jamie Albritton and Chase Newman.
