Barbra Ann Collins Scott, 86 of Arab passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, at her home. Barbara was born May 17, 1936 in Arab the daughter of Dewey Collins and Lucille Jones Collins. She was a member of Union Hill First Congregational Methodist Church and was married to James Kenneth Scott for 57 years at the time of his passing July 19, 2009.
She is survived by her daughters: Kay Scott and Lynne Wisener, husband: Mark; grandchildren: Jake Wisener, wife Dayleigh and Kacie Wisener; great granddaughter: Remi Wisener; daughter-in-law: Portia Scott; brother: Larry Collins (Carol); sister: Jane Saylor (Mike); sisters-in-law: Bernice Collins and Virginia Bell; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by husband: Kenneth Scott, son: Mitch Scott, parents: Dewey and Lucille Collins, brother: Jerry Collins, sisters: Nellie Ruth Camp and Carolyn Parker.
Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2023, at the Union Hill F.C.M. Church with Brother Chris Claborn, Brother Mark Wisener and Brother Jeff Rowan officiating. The burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Union Hill F.C.M. Church. She will also lie-in-state on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m.
