Michael E. Strickland, 70 of Glen, MS, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at his residence. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Mr. Strickland was born September 27, 1952 in Dixon, TN to Elmer Strickland and Bertie Sanders Strickland. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was an electrician and was a member of the Local 852 for 40 years. Michael is survived by his wife of 47 years, Peggy Strickland; his son, Chad Strickland (Priscilla Bond); his brothers, Mark Strickland (Cathy) and Joel Strickland (Sharon); his aunt, Doris Brewer (Jerry); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Strickland; his mother, Bertie Sanders Strickland; his brother, Steven Strickland and his sister, Pamela Strickland.
