Ruthie Hosmer McBrayer, 99, of Dora, Alabama, passed away on March 28, 2023.
Ruthie is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Stephen Hosmer and Edna Otto Hosmer Rushing; husband, William Arthur McBrayer; second husband, Vester Gilbreath; Brothers, James Burrell Hosmer, Henry Lee Hosmer and Bobby Joe Hosmer; and sister, Mildred Velma Watkins.
Left to Cherish Ruthie’s memory are her sons, Jimmy MCBrayer (Clara), Donald Gene McBrayer (Chrystine), and Bobby Ray McBrayer (Brenda); brothers, Raymond Ronald Hosmer, and Carlton Thomas Hosmer; sister, Thelma Odell Roberts; and a host of grand and great grandchildren.
The McBrayer family will receive friends Monday, April 3, 2023 from 1:00-2:00PM with Funeral services to follow at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at East Dora Cemetery.
