Ms. Dianne Moody McBride, age 72, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, in Jackson. She was born July 5, 1950 in Henderson County to the late Cooper Lee Moody and Vergie Powers Moody. She was retired from MagneTek. Survivors include her two sons, James C. Melton and Jimmy Glenn Melton, Jr.; her daughter, Linda Diane Bartholomew; three brothers, Jerry Moody (Glee), Clifford Moody (Martha), and Paul Moody (Ann); two sisters, Marilyn Owens and Faye Sims; 9 grandchildren, James Cody Melton, Colby Eli Melton, Caitlyn Melton, Glenn Melton III, Cheyenne Carol, Dustin Wallace, Colten Bartholomew, Dylan Gossett, and Dallas Gossett; and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, J. V. Moody and one granddaughter, Chelsey Ann Melton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM, Thursday, March 23, 2023 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Judson Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 5-9 PM and on Thursday, 10 AM – 1 PM.
