Sandra Lee Davis, 77, of Elkmont, passed away on Saturday, March 11th, 2023, at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Davis was born on January 5th, 1946, to John Burggraf and Opal Lee Carpenter Burggraf.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 13 years Delbert Davis; sons James Arthur Guerard, Jeffery A. Guerard (Danni), Scott Christopher Guerard (Charity); stepsons John B. Davis (Leah), Sean K. Davis, and Michael S. Davis; grandson Asher Huxton Guerard; great grandchildren Alex Lewis, William E. Lewis, and Faith Renee Lewis.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be Tuesday, March 14th, 2023, at 1:00pm at Thatch Mann Cemetery, with Aaron Kretzschmar officiating. The visitation will be Tuesday from 10:30-12:30pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Decatur, Al. She enjoyed holding babies, sewing, and making quilts for new babies. She loved to spend time in the kitchen, especially baking. She loved to hold babies. She was a sweet, loving, and kind person to everyone and had a heart of gold. She always had a way to make people feel welcome in her home. She will be dearly missed.
